Support

If you need help right now

Coaching isn't crisis support. If you're struggling, in danger, or worried about someone else, please contact one of these. The first three are free, and answer day or night.

In immediate danger

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, has seriously hurt themselves, or is having a seizure, call 999 or go to A&E.

999

Samaritans

Free to call, day or night, from any phone. For anyone who is struggling, or worried about someone else.

116 123

NHS 111

For urgent help that isn't a 999 emergency. In England, choose option 2 for urgent mental health support.

111

Your GP

For ongoing support. If you drink heavily or daily, speak to them before you stop or cut down, because stopping suddenly can be dangerous. Ask for an urgent appointment if you need one.

Outside the UK

Find A Helpline is a free directory of helplines in over 130 countries. Choose your country and it shows you who to call. In an emergency, dial your local emergency number.

In Sri Lanka, the National Mental Health Helpline is 1926. It's free and confidential, in English, Sinhala and Tamil.
